Therapy for Men, Executives, Leaders, and High-Achieving Professionals Dealing with Stress and Burnout
I’m Morgan Rash, a Licensed Clinical Social Work Therapist in California.
(CA Lic. # 140633)
I specialize in therapy for men and high-achieving professionals with a focus on anxiety, identity, and relationships, with a focus on men (where helpful) who look capable on the outside but feel stretched thin on the inside.
Who I work with:
I work with people in high-pressure careers: executives, senior leaders, engineers, product managers, sales and marketing professionals, and rising managers. Many of my clients are good at their jobs and quietly running on empty. They’re functioning, delivering, and sometimes getting promoted. They’re also lying awake on Sunday night, snapping at the people they love, or making decisions under pressure they wouldn’t defend in daylight.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not falling apart. These are common signs of chronic stress, and they respond well to support.
How I think about this work:
The gap between how capable you look and how unsustainable it feels is usually where the trouble starts. It often shows up as more than anxiety. It shows up in what anxiety and stress quietly drive: the second drink that becomes a habit, the impulsive decision at 11 pm, the corners cut with people who trust you.
I don’t treat these patterns as character flaws. I treat them as signals, data about what isn’t working in how you’re carrying the load. Together we figure out what’s behind them and build steadier ways of handling pressure, responsibility, and relationships.
Therapy with me is practical and collaborative. It isn’t endless talk, and it isn’t about making you less driven. Many people who do this work find they become steadier and have more room to enjoy what they’ve built.
My background:
I’m licensed in California as an LCSW. Prior to my counseling career, I spent over 20 years leading Sales and Marketing functions in Silicon Valley. I carried targets, built and managed teams, and made high-stakes decisions where "I'm fine" was the only acceptable answer.
I talk to my clients as capable adults who are good at a lot of things but may have never been taught the one skill nobody trained them for: dealing with what's going on inside.
I completed my associate clinical hours at a large group practice and a community mental health clinic, where I practiced one-on-one counseling services and launched and led Men’s Process Groups. That experience shaped how I work: I’ve seen how much it helps professionals and men talk openly with each other about stress, pressure, and relationships, in a space that doesn’t ask them to perform.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver, graduating in the top 1% of the class with honors. My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Behavior, Mindfulness, and other forms of evidence-based practices.
What working together looks like:
I offer remote online telehealth sessions throughout California. My practice is private-pay and out-of-network.
